The Heatec HCI thermal fluid heater is an industrial heater commonly used in closed-loop thermal fluid heat transfer systems. The heater is designed around a helical coil. Thermal fluid flows through the helical coil, gaining radiant and convective heat from hot burner gases. The heated thermal fluid then transfers heat to end users such as tanks, presses, dryers, reactors, chillers, extruders, steam generators, or other equipment. The heater's two-pass design provides high efficiency, simplicity and low maintenance. Heating coils meet ASME code.
Three-Pass Helical Coil Heater
A very high efficiency thermal fluid heater. Has two helical coils, a smaller coil that fits inside of a larger coil.

Hot burner gases pass through the center of the smaller coil and double back between it and the larger coil. They then travel back between the outer diameter of the larger coil and the heater shell. Thus, the gases make three passes through the heater, transferring heat to thermal fluid that flows in the helical coils.
Heatec 3-pass heaters are available in horizontal and vertical configurations. Capacities range from 0.7 to 60 million BTU/hour.
Heatec's Vertical Serpentine Heater/Vaporizer
An upright heater that uses serpentine heating coils for thermal fluid. These heaters are used primarily in the food, chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries. They can be used to heat almost any type of fluid. The vertical design allows the heater to occupy only a small ground area. Capacities range from 1 to 75 million BTU/hour.
